This charming, rural scene with figures, inscribed lower right, possibly depicts a Cotswold hamlet. Wilfred Coast was a marine and landscape painter who exhibited at the annual Cheltenham exhibition known as the B.W.S. showing two works: “Burning the Rick” and “Trawlers, Ramsgate”.
